- 2Insert the cable puller into the ending point of the space you will pull the wire through. Gently push the wire through the wall or conduit. It may be necessary to work the puller back and forth if it becomes stuck or has trouble going through a curve in the conduit.
- 3Attach the wire to the end of the cable puller. Put the end of the wire through the hole at the tip of the cable puller. Use electrical tape, if needed, to secure the end of the wire to the puller.
- 4Pull the wire puller back out of the wall or conduit. The wire or data cable will be dragged back through. Continue to pull until the wire is the appropriate length out of the conduit.
